Ingredients:
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 7g instant yeast
- 80g sugar
- 250ml warm milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 50g unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Cooking oil for frying
- Toppings: powdered sugar, chocolate glaze, sprinkles
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and instant yeast.
- Gradually add warm milk while kneading the dough.
- Add egg yolks, continue kneading until smooth.
- Mix in butter and salt, knead until elastic and non-sticky.
- Cover and let rise for 45–60 minutes.
- Roll out the dough, cut with a donut cutter.
- Let rest for another 20 minutes.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain, cool, and decorate with your favorite toppings.
Tips:
- Use warm milk, not hot.
- Don't overproof after shaping the donuts.
